This dress was purchased at a trunk sale, but after I bought it I decided to get a different dress to better fit my venue. It has never been worn (except when I tried it on) and has been stored carefully in a pet-free and smoke-free home. I am not sure the original year of the dress, because it came from a trunk sale, but it is in lovely condition. It is an ivory dress, made of 100% silk and feels very light when on. The tags proclaiming the size and designer are still on. The front has beautiful lace flowers on the bodice and an A-line skirt. The hemline has beautiful, celtic-knot-like detailing that matches the detailing on the bodice. The back is romantic with a trail of buttons (that hide a very useful zipper!). There is a medium length train to the dress. It would be perfect for airy summer weddings in gardens, old manor houses, castles or a romantic beach ceremony!
